Although we won against Houston (barely), what do you guys think of Van Gundy putting in Charlie Ward in the 2nd half in the Houston game? Do you think it's good for the team, since it may increase competition b/w Eisley and Ward and both will raise their game to win the spot, or has it just made the drama worse?

I personally think both players are being displayed for trading purposes. He will play both players and make teams look at what each has to offer. If both play well then maybe this way we will be able to come up with a solid big man by the trade deadline.

It's funny. One of the backups sits on the bench for a long time watching the other slowly deteriorate to a point where his shooting percentage drops to below 30%, Van Gundy gets upset, puts in the other PG who hasn't played in 4 games, the back up has an outstanding quarter or 2... repeat cycle. I give Ward another 3 games before Eisley gets playing time.
