uh, you might want to check his statline in the Finals this year before you say that he got abused by the Wallace brothers...if anyone was abusing anyone, it was Shaq making Big Ben Wallace look pretty small...it's not his fault no one else showed up to play that series...you think if Kobe, Payton & Malone were playing up to their full potential, they would have been dismissed as easily as they were?

I think shaq still won the battle of the bigmen in the finals, the wallaces just defended him better than other teams and were able to do it without double teams

Rught now, the Knicks are the only realistic Eastern COnference option. I really don't think Miami is interested. The two West Conference teams that make the most sense are Memphis and Dallas. However, Buss would hate to see Shaw end up with the Logo. They might end up going with Dallas if Dallas is willing to give up Dirk but they would still be making Dallas a powerhouse. If the Lakers want to keep Shaq in the Eastern Conference then the Knicks can be a major player.

Jermaine has and is the Pacer Franchise for the next 15 years. Shaq is not young, slow and not as dominant as he used to be. I dont think Larry will gamble. Don't forget, Jermaine is only 23.
It would take more that Odom but I think you are right. Miami would trade for Shaq in a second if it were a possibility.
There is no way the Nets can get Shaq.
