It cost the Blazers Eddie Gill and $3 million to get the Nets' 22nd pick, which they'll use on Telfair, who could become a franchise PG for them. That's a good situation for Telfair, a young nucleus, a coach who's a former PG, and will be able to backup Stoudamire for a few years before starting.
If Isiah wants to move up and get JR Smith, then it shouldn't be that hard if the Blazers set the bar at Gill/$3 million. If they get Wright in the expansion draft for Harrington and Mutumbo and walk out of the draft with the Bobcats not taking Trybanski, they should look to package him with Mohammed to get a first rounder to get Smith.

even if it wasn't listed on every website, use your noodle: the nets need money and have a pg. the blazers have more money than god and need a future pg. do you all just get your news from this board....?
