there are similarities but wade is a bigger player with longer arms and that means a lot.

I see Ben Gordon as a guy who can't play SG cause he's too small. And can't play PG cause he's not a good enough passer and thinks shot first.

Dwayne wade is also a phenominal leaper, that alone seperates him from gordon... Not even close....

Ben Gordon has a 44 inch vertcal leap. there was some report that said it was something like 39 or 40 but the Uconn site is accurate. they had emeka listed at 6-9 in bare feet 260 a year before all this jibberish came out. No Ben Gordon will be one of the best leapers in the NBA but there is a difference between 6-4 210 and 6-2 190

I don't care what his verticle is, jumping in workouts with no one around is different from game action, and jumping in traffic and in different situations, wade is a athletic freak, he can play way above the rim and go over people, Ben gordon does not do that......

gordon has long arms, great hops, is a little taller than 6'2" i think according to official NBA measurements.

he sounds like a Baron Davis clone to me from what you guys are saying about him...i haven't seen him play much so i'm not going to comment on who i think he'll grow to be like.

Ben Gordon is no Baron Davis, and I am not saying that as a compliment or a criticism. Davis is a pure PG who just scores a lot. Plus, he chucks up an awful number of bad shots, that kills his team. Gordans big problem was that he didn't chuck up nearly enough shots. In fact, some people said that could kill Uconns chances of winning the champ this year (Which it didn't). Gordon has all the tools to be a huge player in the league, and maybe even better than Davis. I'd take him in a heartbeat. He just needs a change of mentality. He could very well, turn out to be Keith Van Horn. But, if he takes advantage of what he has, he can easily become a top 5 guard in the league.

a pure PG who scores alot & chucks up alot of bad shots doesn't really sound like what a "pure PG" would be like to me...Jason Kidd is a pure PG...distributes, thinks pass first & orchestrating the offense...Baron Davis to me plays more like Allen Iverson.
