Sam Amick says knicks and Lakers interested...

I would love to get the dude, but we got money to spend and we have the draft. Still would be killer to have him on the bench instead of Cole Alrich bum ass lol.

Posted about this on the other thread- yes please! He's only on the books for $2mil next season- a bargain for a backup C. We can only really offer Acy, or Cole, or Tim Jr. Tim Jr makes no sense as they are guard heavy.

See what you're saying and I like him (athletic and underrated for a backup C type), I just don't know if I'd give up anything for him right now -- Acy, Timmy, cash, a future 2, etc. I'd rather hold onto these few assets for the time being. If we'll have any shot at getting an extra pick in this draft coming up, we'll need these assets. Also not sure Miles Plumlee's that much better than Aldrich/Jason Smith (you figure we could probably bring both back next year for the same type of money MP's set to make, less for Aldrich) or even this kid Jordan Bachynski who's got legit defensive potential. On the other hand--55% from the field, over 5 rpg and 1 blk per ain't bad for a guy playing only 18 mins..

The real question to ask about Plumlee, who will be 27 before next season, is why he can't even crack 20 MPG on a team whose only other center is a 21 year old Alex Len?

Don't know much about him as a player. 55% from the FT line is not so good. Seems like he can play some D and hold his own on the boards.

If someone can make a real case for giving up something or someone for him, I'm listening.

he's a solid bench big... nothing more.. nothing less... but that's something we need...

suns were asking for a 1st rd pick for him which they are not getting... but we don't even have a 2nd rder to give them...
