thianais alphabet ...why not?!?! (shrugs shoulders)
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Knicks are trying to squeeze an extra year out of him so they aren't signing him until the off season. He'll definitely be in the roster next year

It seems like the smart thing to do would be to keep the spot open until after the trade deadline. A good young player might be part of a trade to makE salaries work and then waived by his new team. Knicks did that with Corey brewer. Having a spot and trade exceptions also allows the Knicks to help facilitate trades by taking a player without sending a guy out. Maybe in this scenario they get a second round pick. Good move by the Knicks.

Sixers did not resign Tim Frazier. I just read the headlines about him but it sounded like he played great there. Had 11 assists in his first game.

Schlosser, TheKnicksblog, is saying the Knicks are going to bring up Thanasis. I am a bit surprised by this but maybe a deal was in place all along if Thanasis stayed in Westchester versus going overseas. Schlosser also mentioned the Knicks may open up another roster spot by the deadline.

Tim Frazier returned to the league in a big way with 10 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists in the win.

I was reading before that they plan on inserting Isaiah Canaan in as the starting PG. Good for him man. Nice opportunity for that kid.

I wouldn't mind seeing Phil pick up Bryce Cotton. Could be a better player than both Frazier and Canaan. Cotton could be a better version of Patty Mills. I'm shocked no one's called him up yet. Definitely worth a look imo.

Is Earl Barron still kicking it in the D-League? Wouldn't mind bringing him in.

Makes you wonder. Is it just Providence kids? Jamel Thomas, God Shamgod, ricky ledo, jamycal green, marshon brooks.... none of those guys got a fair run at the nba

Last week we had the NBA trade deadline which meant there was a ton of movement (39 players traded to be exact!) in The Association. The D-League was affected by this as well as guys like Tim Frazier, Henry Walker, Earl Barron, David Stockton and Quincy Miller earned 10-day contracts will NBA clubs.

Miller was our No. 1 NBA ready prospect in last week’s rankings and after two 10-day stints with the Sacramento Kings, we will see if he can stick this time with the Detroit Pistons. Our process here has been to have four D-League bloggers get together each week and vote on our top-15 NBA ready players in the D-League. With that information we average out the scores and bring you our top-10.

Scott Rafferty (@crabdribbles): Scott is the Editor at Upside & Motor covering the NCAA and D-League alike he’s become quite the know-it-all in each field. If he was permitted he would write articles, dedications, and a short haiku in honor of Tracy McGrady each day, but alas there is real work to be done.

Adam Johnson (@SeaDubsCentral): Adam is the Editor at Sea Dubs Central which covers the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League to the furthest extent of the Earth. If there is something you need or want to know about the D-League, it’s history or quirky facts hit this dude up because he knows it — and he will share it!

Drew Corrigan (@Dcorrigan50): Drew is the Editor of FanSided’s Sixer Sense and also contributes for SB Nation’s Ridiculous Upside regularly. He has a passion for the Sixers that burns deep in his loins, so do not question Hinkie and the fate of Philly unless you come ready to battle!

It's really bizarre. I think when analysts talk about Phil being lazy and not wanting to put in the work that successful GMs do to succeed this is what they're talking about. This roster spot has been open for, what, two weeks now? Why haven't we signed some interesting D-League guy with potential? If we have any hope of being even a playoff contender next season we need to find a role player or two that's not currently on an NBA team.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Come on guys. I need help getting the Derek Fisher 10-day contract movement to catch fire!

Because apparently NBA players don't listen to the coaches and need to be lead by the hand on the floor...

Operation Player-Coach: let's make it happen.
