Since Dragic is reportedly going to be offered too much money by Lakers and/or Rockets, and Dolan wouldn't consider Lin for a MLE-type deal. Why not go after I.Thomas? Just heard the Suns are trying to move I.Thomas instead of Dragic. He's a cheaper option that would allow us more roster options and flexibility. Pairing him with Russell could be a nice balance (ball distribution, socring and size) or would still allow us to go for a big in the draft. What do you guys think about him for the triangle, and of any of the possible trades for him?

Calderon and T.Hardaway Jr for I.Thomas and M.Plumlee
Calderon, S.Larkin and Hardaway for I.Thomas and G.Green
Calderon, T.Hardaway Jr, J.Smith and Larkin for I.Thomas and B.Wright

I hate phoenix sucks. They need big men. They have way too many quality perimeter players. They have enough to fill out two nba teams. Annoying ass franchise

They may trade I.Thomas to be able to keep Dragic. Hardaway could be a good fit for them, as they have several ball handlers and could use spot up shooters. The trade with Jason Smith could give them a needed big (that will expire if they don't like). I'd be fine with substituting C.Early as we have the Greek kid to develop as well. Larkin could expire or be their speedy and more affordable backup. Calderon is one year less and could provide leadership in a more appropriate role. So to your answer your question, because Knicks fans must have the ability to dream and maintain hope - that's coping for putting up with their performance :)

Thomas is one of my favorite players but he's just too short. He's everything we need at the point guard though as far as his game. Totally deserves his own team to run

Plum is a nice bench role player.
DOn't want no Isiah Thomas here, even if just the name.
I don't think Phil wants no midget PG. They don't win chips do they?
Kid is a nice player, Just don't think this is a kid we trade for.
Cleanthony might be destined to play the 2 in the Triangle.
