Jason Smith has left more players open behind the arch than anyone. The idea that Smith should be or would be kept next year is silly to me.

well ... he is a mid range guy. Don't think he even knows about this arc thing that you mention

kidding aside, I could see why he will be kept.

Wouldnt mind having him here next year, his jumpshot and passing ability would be good next year as a 3rd/2nd 10-15 big

Knicks as a whole are running the Triangle MUCH better than they were at the start of the year. Everyone seems to be much more comfortable with the decisions, movement and passing. Knowing where their shots will come and even improvising. They move much faster now and it's good to see the growth.
