exactly, if hiring phil jacksons was his best move to date(base on fans and media), so far thats turning into something far worse than hiring IT and trading 1st round picks for a living
So far hiring of phil jackson wose than IT? why?
Well for starters his initial plan failed miserably, so his fall back plan now is to rebuild. He couldn't trade any of the players on this roster for anything worth while, even with expiring contracts. Essentially anyone on this board could have done the same thing he did without a drop of experience.
Trade tyson to a team that wanted him anyway
Drafting early, who look like he isn't close to being NBA material yet
hiring fisher who had no other offers from anyone
trading shump and JR or pocket change and a late 2nd rnd pick
IT wasn't a bad hire until his moves started back firing, just like phil grabbed calderon in the trade hoping he was a better option then felton, IT thought curry, crawford, penny, steph where better talent than , Doleac, shannan, eisly and some 1st picks.
A GM/prez is as good as his team, especially when your moves are a reflection of the teams record
