he opted out of his $4 mil guaranteed deal from the spurs. is he a viable option for the knicks?

Bowen would be a player I would like to have, but, there are other players I think we should go after first like Crawford, Dampier, Sheed, Blount, Swift, etc.

sign Bowen and have him sit next to Shandon cuz neither will play with Hardaway, Timmy a healthy Houston or maybe a re-signed DeMarr or some other guy.

Bruce is Shandon with great D. I like bruce, but he shines on real good teams. We ain't there yet, nor should we spend on that kind of player.

great call...you are absolutely right...plus i dont want him...he's too old....we gotta stick to what we are looking for. Young athletic talent. we cant stray. Got to rememebr we arent dealing with Scott Layden. Isiah has a plan. He is building a TEAM and not a multi dimensional unit. He wants ONE unit built on a plan. Layden went after names and (crappy names i must say) didnty have a plan. I guess we are just not used to that!!!!!

Exactly, Bowen is some other team's missing piece, while to us he's a one dimensional player at a redudant position that would not really make us much better. I like him a ton, but he's not right for this team.
