Please don't get me wrong, the amount of hype this guy is getting does not need any fuel. But, Galloway is listed with a 6'8 wingspan. Some might downplay the stat, but in the book, The Sports Gene, the author breaks down the genetics of athletes. Wingspan was thoroughly discussed for its correlation with the NBA, especially in rebounding. Most undersized successful players in the NBA had a much greater wingspan than their height.

I like Galloway, i'm not about to tag him a starter. But, I think Galloway could potentially play like he was 6'4. I think people love him because he is a sign of what good organizations do, they find talent. Well and everyone loves an underdog.

To contrast, Larkin does not even have a wingspan larger than his height. This is an anomaly in the NBA, present within only a small percentage of players if I remember correctly from the book.

Edit: Larkin's wingspan is actually .5 of an inch longer than his height which is 5'10.25 without shoes.
