It is funny how much press the Detroit Piston didn't receive after defeating the Lakers. It has been almost 10 years since the East has won a championship. You would have thought that defeating one of the top team of the West, specially the one with one of the most dominant big men in the game, also one of the teams that won three out of the last five championships in the NBA would have been the talk of the Sport channels specially in our area. The same happened to San Antonio last year, and I am here to say that I am ashamed of the sports world for creating that huge disparity.

I wonder if it would have been the same if the Knicks was to be the champion this year. It is a funny thought, because it appears that if your name is not Lakers, Knicks, or Bulls, and now Cleveland, you won't get no press what so ever.
