I am pleasantly surprised by how well the Knicks are playing for one another as a team since JR, Shump, Dalembert, and even Stoudamire have not been in the lineup. The new guys are al more team oriented dudes who play hard from start to finish, and most of all, they are not worried about getting individual stats.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I like galloway but the others guys are just fill ins. I mean to be fair the teams we beat recently arent that good and were missing their best players

The other two dudes may not be very talented, but they are smart and play hard. You often win championships with these types of players.

we won 10 games this year our focus should be the draft in case we strike out in free agency

It's gotten to the point no matter what the results

You have to spin it as a positive

i hate losing. I wanted to win back in november when the season was still worth a damn. Now things have changed because getting a guy like okafor, mudiay, russell, or towns is worth more than a few extra wins

Without carmelo wed be wiped out every game don't fool youtself. What the added players have done is enhance the team so melos scoring has had more effect. This has been a very easy stretch of games

This is a nice run. But after the All-Star break, they need to rest Anthony and go for more lottery balls. We need a top 3 pick in this draft more than we need to try and win 25 games.
Trust the Process

Agree if we play ourselves out of a high lottdry pick it would just be the continuation of bad management. Teams like boston orlando will focus on tanking soon. Look at our history of playing ourselves out of a steph curry and a lamarucs aldridge. So we can rely on 33 yo lou the vampire admundson? Does melo really have a bad knee? Are they going to wait until he misses games next year

We just got beat by 20pts by the Pacers with Melo

Only won 5gms out of 40 where Melo played 75% of those games

And lost plenty by double digits, where have you been

whatever the number it can be explained by Fisher's bad coaching. Duh!

All we need to do now is draft the right player to fit THE system (a big man that can: pass the ball, block shots, make shots, rebound the ball, and DEFEND). Okafor is nice, but I don't believe he is as complete as most are saying. If he is on the board, we will have no other choice but to draft him. However, if he is not, I believe we should draft STEIN or Russel or Towns. Offer draymond green or Butler or Monroe a contract, but don't over pay. Use the rest of the money to find guys who can shoot the ball/and defend. My other choice is to offer Biyambo a contract

and where exactly will you find this so call big man that can do all of the above, there isn't a player in college that is as well rounded or even close to it, and there is a hand full of bigs in the league that can do some of what you would like in a bigman.

joakim noah

oh, wait, we opted for eddy curry instead.

tank already. put melo on ice. The draft is going to be a better source of roster/talent franchise transformation than free agency.

We are to do it the smart way. Draft Stein who happens to be similar to Joakim Noah, and bring in a FA like Green or Monroe for additional passing, scoring and rebounding.

There's a chance that could actually happen. We just can't know where we'll end up in the draft but whatever spot we land at we just have to make that pick count and go into FA looking to fill in the other holes. We need some front line talent and if that's an elite Defender, Scorer or all around player they'll be welcome. Okafor, Towns, Russell, Mudiay, Stein... I think there are a lot of quality players in this draft.

I think Phil will find a way to acquire a first round draft pick at the trade deadline or during draft night. He might decide to trade the lottery pick to a team with multiple first rounders like Boston or Philly; specifically, if Okafor is not on the board.

I simply pray that we end up with a dude like Russell and Stein together.

100% commitment to the draft this year. Anything else is folly. Jax said today that Melo will be shutting it down post-AS break.
