He hasn't looked good, but you're correct

The kid should be licking his chops

I saw some Skyforce guys doing this very thing

That Hopson kid is kinda nice

You saw they're being coached by Phil Weber right

I agree about Hopson. He looks good. Checked on his draftnet write up and they said he has a 6'11 wingspan. Freakish for a 2 guard.

He got wherever he wanted the first half

Great handle touch and finish around the rim

I was looking at the Top 30 prospects and wonder

Why hasn't Jordan Hamilton's name been brought up more

He's rated 3rd and has put up a recent 30 and 40pt game

I am not sure why he wasn't mentioned more. A ton of guys have been signed since the start of January by nba clubs.

He had a better second half but he didn't have an efficient game

He was very bad defensively, need to see better effort and motor from him

I only watched a couple of minutes in the first half. Thanasis looked really bad on offense at that point. He has looked better in the second half as well.

I mentioned he was bad with his shooting, played great defense

But he wasn't even hitting his free throws

Settled down some posting up and driving to the basket

I've always been high on Hopson. 6'7" long and skilled. Very surprised he went undrafted a few years ago.

Many quality 2Gs in the DL that we could easily grab to retool our 2 spot for next year: Orlando Johnson, Kevin Murphy (now in China), Scotty Hopson... Those 3 alone all have pro games and would be upgrades over THJ imho. Add 6'6" Thanasis and the defense he'd bring to the mix -- SG could be a real strength for us come next year if we're thinking about upgrading with players like these.

6'9" 220+ Khem Birch didn't do much tonight but he made his presence felt with the 3 blocks. Dude should be on our radar as a cheap piece to improve our frontcourt depth/interior defense for next year. Remember the big block game Jerami Grant had against us a few games back in Philly? That's the type of defensive impact Birch could have. Birch is bigger than Grant--Grant's a SF; Birch is more of a truer 4-man. Dude reminds me of Bismack Biyombo/Amir Johnson.

When you think about Hardaway versus some of those guys its a bit frustrating. Hopson is really good. He also is taller and has a much larger wing span than other two guards. Not sure but Tim seems to be playing like he is still a part of the previous dysfunctional regime. If not that then maybe he isn't as good as he appeared last year.
Jerami Grant is going to be a really good pro. The Knicks missed out on him with the early pick. Hopefully things work out but Jerami is a stud.

Actually they said they wanted him to get some run because he hadn't been playing much. It is one of the perks of having the team in White Plains.

He was alright but he did not score fluidly

At one point he was 2-7 or 2-8 in his second game

Hopson made scoring look easy

And we played the same team back-to-back
