at least that is what 'melo is calling it.

So, will Langsanity ruin what has been a pretty decent tank job, or will we keep pace?

Tank should resume once Melo has surgery. You will see competitive basketball from these guys wi. Or lose. If Melo continues to play every other day we will make the playoffs or just miss

melo MUST shut it down...theres no reason for him to be playing
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

So what is Galloway. Combo guard like a Jason Terry or a Billups type of who leads and lifts teammates? Do you think he can handle PG if Calderon is traded?

It isn't like NYK really need the worst record - that doesn't guarantee anything.

I'd be happy with a top 3 worst record & having this kid play out of his mind like Lin did for 10 games.
That was fun. It's a shame there's too much on the line to root for some wins - the salary cap system is flawed.

I think Galloway is like Billups. I think he could play the point if he played with another ball handler.

So keep Calderon? Or get a bigger SG?

If Galloway can't handle the ball and make decisions like a PG than you can't play him with THJ who can't handle the ball at all

It all depends on who is next to him. If we draft Russell, they could be a great fit together. Dragic too. Not sure about a traditional SG like Matthews or Danny Green though.

IMO LG has enough ball handling and passing for this system. It doesn't really put a lot of pressure on the PG so I like LG's prospects. LG reminds me more of Fisher. Underrated guards that can hit big shots and do a little of everything. He's got that same mental toughness.

Galloway ran the dleague team. I'm hopeful he can run the Knicks so we can bring in a Butler, Matthews or Green. I really don't want to spend all our money on another overpriced over the hill big when we can draft one

we will see. He's always been a scorer and a good defender. He's always been able to shoot the longball well as far back as high school. He's got the same verticle leap as Wade measured pre-draft so he's got hops. He measured 6'2 with a 6'8 wingspan, so all the physical tools to be a top defender in the league are there.

he's got his shot. Its all on Langston to show what he can do. He sure does play with the kind of confidence and fire that tells you he will be around awhile.

Yeah... I've been thinking of a Russell/Galloway backcourt, too.

That would be an exciting backcourt. A lot of people see Russell as a PG but i see him as more of a Harden or Roy-type. Having a combo guard who can shoot and defend like Galloway beside that type of player is ideal.
