The OKC game was one of a few games this year that I really enjoyed watching this team play. They play hard, with energy on both ends of the floor. That's all we ask for as fans. These young guys are hungry and could very well flourish on this system. Glad we have locked up LT an LG.

i love all the sudden nobody is bitching about fishers coaching and that the knicks have no players. knick fans are amazing lol. the fact of the matter is that these things take time. nobody wanted amundsun and lance thomas here, everyone wanted them waived for dleague scrubs. now they are not only still on the team, but they are two of the biggest reasons the knicks have been winning games. the best part about these guys is that they are hard workers and will do whatever it takes to fill a role and fit into the team concept. the beautiful thing is that these guys are helping change the culture here and so is fisher who has lost a ton of games this year but hasn't changed his tune for a second. funny this team started to take off once we brought in guys who are willing to work together and freed ourselves from the "raw talent" in jr smith and iman shumpert. neither one of those guys were able to take to the offense and the overall ideology pjax has set for this franchise.

It's amazing how quickly people jump on the slightest glimmer.

Another 3 game streak would be nice...or even a second 2 game streak before getting excited.

it has nothing to do with winning games.. at all really. it has to do with how this team has been playing games. this roster would never be good enough to win more than 30 games in a good year. but when you have a healthy melo, add in a top draft pick, a FA or two and then you got something. this team is playing how i think pjax and fisher envisioned them to play now.

You want Melo to shut it down have surgery probably after the Allstar game and come back 100%

Once that happens the knicks will secure a top pick while playing competitive watchable basketball. It's wonderful

Exactly.. It's not about winning its about mindset and effort. These guys are playing hard.

And I have never had an issue with Fish. I have faith in him.

Fisher is the right man for the job because he is 100% in lock step with Phil. Serious Knick fans understood this from day one. He was not going to get fired a weak into the season when the team was utter trash

Pelicans - No Davis or Holiday

Sixers - Our Lottery Nemesis

Orlando - Wants Back In Lottery Race

OKC - No Durant

Are our shiny new toys playing good ball yep

But where is this really leading too

Because believe me come June this bumper crop of fans

Will be extremely irate and wondering what next

I may be more confused as ever

Also good thing for Gallo, Lance, Lou

Who got immediate consistent minutes day one on the team

Who didn't have to play with J.R. or Shump

Hopefully they don't put up any dud games too close together

Because they'll see how the NBA can turn on them

you are right, many of these teams are missing their best players. In the case of Oklahoma, they still had Westbrook, Ibaka, RJ and Waiters compared to NY's Melo. NY has a pick and funds to add 2-3 very good players next year, which still makes them at least even to an Oklahoma WITH Durant, imo.

I am encouraged by the play of these guys. They just play. No drama, No BS, No Me-first attitude.

Yesterday, Fish went out of his way to praise THJr. That is a high compliment coming from a character guy like Fisher. Hardaway has had two good games in a row now. If he is actually as good as he can be, the number of pieces NY needs to get back to contention goes down. Even he just a solid rotation player like thomas or Galloway, it helps tremendously. Hardawway backing up a Wes Matthews is pretty good now. Galloway backing up Dragic is good. Lance Thomas backing up Melo is good.

The signs are there that PJax knows what he is doing. The trade of Smith and Shump was a turning point.

all good posts (except F5 whos posts suck). Its not about winning a couple of games. Its about staying the course and playing the style that they have been preaching. Good defense, ball movement and team play. Galloway is a straight up keeper. Lance and Louie look like they can at the worst be servicable bench players and good system guys, and we will really need those.

There are some very good signs here. Fisher included.

SMFH at guys like F5! Just can't help himself. Pissin on any positive development. It's not about the wins or strength of competition. It's the change in the way the team is playing. You can see the effort and execution has improved. You can see the positive effect it's having on guys like THJ and Jason. Everyone is impacted by the positive energy LG, LT and Amundson have brought.

We still have to establish a new core but at least we'll have a lot of players who already know the system and play a role. This will make Phil's job easier this summer.

Weve moved more towards skilled players as well. I think Melo's assists move up to 5-6 next year if we add two studs and 2-3 additional pieces on top of that that make sense--(meaning efficient post and 3 pt shooters)

I'm happy both LG and Lance are here proving their value

I will not oversell it, Lin, Shump, Calderon, THJR

Your that guy? You are!!! You paint yourself into a corner of doubt where somehow redemption is the team keep losing so you can say "see, I told you".
But your not.
You can say "gee, I might have been a bit harsh".

Nobody says the team has righted the ship. Its obvious play "A" did not work. Its obvious there were players not on board with the program. Its not obvoious because you said it, but the record.

Fish has this raggy group playing hard. Thats all. Durant or not, OKC is a better team than ours!!!! Your suppose to win at home, and when their star is out.
Fish is finding his way on a team in constant change.

Nobody says you have to be a cheer leader or have more "Spirit". Just not be one sided to prove your points would be a good start.

Again these are not expected to be frontline players. But as role players they can help a team be more productive. They have the right mix of skills, effort and unselfishness we need. Think about how JR complained the Triangle was too complicated!!! Yet these guys come in and get it right away. That tells you everything we need to know about why things went so bad.

We need players like this to show the rest of the team how it's done. They've already had a positive impact on others on the team. We still have more big moves to come in rebuilding this team.
