Zach played well when he was here, but that didn't translate to wins.

JR is lighting it up for the Cavs- evidently because he can't light up late night on the town.

I could put a roster together that would win 50 games (in the East) of players playing today that we essentially jettisoned because for whatever reason, they weren't working out here, or we thought we could do better.

Meanwhile, the wretched Knick roster resembles an NBDL team with a handful of cast off NBA Players who, I think, we'll all agree, are overpaid.

Why is it players leave and suddenly become successful & play up to potential.

I think the answer I see is culture- and that might be the one bright spot moving forward with Phil if he can continue to build and hold Dolan at bay.

I guess starphuching (credit Nalod) is the cause.

Mostly it me it comes down to two things: Style of play and a plan. When have the Knicks established either of those two things for more than an 18 mos period?

dont try and bring facts to the disucussion, they will just be pushed aside. everyone who leaves becomes an all-star, mozgove is now an mvp candidate and melo is the worst player in the league. get it? got it? good.

Many of the guys mentioned are doing well in situations very different than the one they had in NY.
Crawford became a great 6th man. Isiah thought Him and Marbury would be a great combo.

Z-Bo matured and next to Marc Gasol looks great. Also, the core of those two, with Conley for the last 4 years is big. They built chemistry.

Zbo in MDA's system was never going to work. Zbo in Isiah's circus of idiocy was never going to work.
We have also moved more players in the last 5 years than anyother team.

IN 15 years, 8 coaches and 7 gm's.........2nd worse record in the NBA in that time.

It all adds up!!!!

BTW, fans being idots or not don't run the franchise or make decisions. If management sells the starphuch and delivers as they have its bound to create the Boo's.
Media has been far more easy becuase its apparent we are rebuilding. Most fans are getting it. The low thinkers or those who react to whats in front of them will do so emotionally.

This is going to take a while. Managing expectations is part of the game. As fans, we have to manage our own by using logic.
