He's had problems in the past with smoking pot.It probably doesn't effect his status too much but any chance at late lottery 12-14 is done. Now you are looking 20-35

An example of the state of Washington's recreational marijuana law corrupting a player.

Is he from Washington, or did he go to the college from another state.

Briggs, would you look at a kid like this if he was available and we had an opportunity to buy a later 2nd and take him?

Do you think Phil would?

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

This is a good pick 31-40 with almost no cost

he will probably into the early 2nd rd range.. i don't think teams will gamble on him in the first rd esp if he has substance issues(ie. larry sanders)... 2nd rd is where it starts making a whole lot of sense to gamble on him and he's good... he's only had half a season to make his mark but he led the nation in blocks...

Probably high 2nd round now--but I kept him in the top 25 in my mock.

He's actually a well-spoken intelligent sounding young man. BUT he has obviously messed with drugs(hopefully just pot) and it could be a matter of youthful error or a much more sinister sign. This is NYC which makes that all worse. If we has Okafor he would certainly be a nice piece as a rim protector per se--but can you rely on him to develop with that problem? There is no doubt the guy is all of 7-1 260 and athletic with long arms---I think he just cost himself $$$$ no doubt--with increased play he was headed later lottery. If I was his dad I'd make sure to get him help first off--basketball decisions 2nd.

Corruption would rather be the primitive laws, global wars, current medicine, etc. You can go to the doctor and get stuff all day that destroys your body but helps to stop pain.
These new Cannabis laws will make their way to the NBA in short time. And the war on consciousness, I mean people, I mean drugs, will be a thing of the past.
Our bodies, our choices, really simple. Call it recreation or not, the people have spoken.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. Albert Einstein
