Do not mind Envy, he is just a ball breaker, as we all can be at times here...
Many people laughed and continued to mock Briggs on Hassamm Whiteside, and I mean A LOT, constantly bringing it up over the years
Well, that was one of players of many he Briggs got right, just took time to develop, some other guys he liked included
Vucevic
Andrew Bynum
Olindipo (as he was a mid 2nd rounder at mock drafts at first)
Bogut (to a certain extent)
and many other players
Some of like Brandon Wright
Yes, he was also wrong about many others, however, he states his analysis before people can see them fully develop do to "potential" some of which do not develop to their ceilings
And that deserves credit regardless
While many here on the site like to say things like "WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS AND THIS" but that is after the results are in and who cannot go look back and said we should have did such and such after they were proven to be steals...
I think Lance is a rare type of talent, when I saw Olindip before he entered the League, I compared Olindop to a poor version of Lance but had the luxury of developing correctly with a higher IQ
While he is still young, maybe some of his flaws can be corrected, and with Hairston and their chemistry issues with Kemba, it is very possible Lance could be moved
Biyombo is what he is, an athletic PF/C with great athleticism/length/mobilty/hustle energy type player
While he isn't an ALL STAR by any means or any type of flashy player, he is a type of player that team mates would love to play with
His ability to block and alter shots and run the floor as a BIG is quite under rated, as still has the chance to continue to develop a better OFFENSE game
Lets not forget Ben Wallace is much smaller in terms of height and he had a very good career while it lasted
So make a suggestion that is realistic for the Knicks and The Bobcats and maybe someone on the staff reads stuff from this board, as this is one of the better basketball forums if not the best
