lost it yet we got good play out of THJ Langston and Thomas.

We cannot win without Caremlo--and for the good of the team he should make sure he is able to go back to back next year

Means we lost stayed competitive and the right guys played well. We will lose most of our games without melo--but does it make sense that he plays--if he cant go back to back now--than he should be down for next year.

The execution was really good in this game in terms of running the offense. Passing and cutting was good. They still make mistakes but they're getting fewer and the effort level is increasing.

Knicks have to develop their own players and games like this will be great learning experience.

I thought Melo got a bruise or something.

For a $125M, I should like to think he can play every game. This year is lost, he needs to shut it down and lay off the useless wear and tear.

I said this before the season started- our best path to being better would be Melo sidelined with a minor injury so he can let his body rest and be fully ready to go next season.

If we would have won the game, it would have showed a sign of development, give the young guys confidence, including Fisher. When you lose close games, you will have no belief that you can win a game like that, you will be nervous, fumbling and bumbling, Turning the ball over, drawing up plays that don't work.

The game is far more mental then physical, moral victories does nothing in terms of growth. I understand draft position, but development brings value to young players, it gives you more flexibility on draft night, or the trade deadline.

the guys on the roster playing- besides Melo- none of them are likely to be here next season.

We don't need our mediocre talent to have confidence- we need an upgrade of talent, and there is one sure fire way to improve that- the draft.

Sure- Langston is a keeper, but he needs to prove he can sustain his play. Frank Williams looked like Clyde for a week of games- then disappeared out of the league.

There are a lot of good FAs that we need to attract. I haven't seen anyone except desperate Knicks fans saying this draft class is worth tanking for.

It was so perfect when I saw THJ turned the ball over in the last possession.

You're right- we'd be much better off without a high pick than with one! No good can ever come of a high draft pick, I'd much rather risk everything on free agency!

My guess is you haven't looked. Check the realgm boards for the Sixers and the twolves. Lots of draft stuff over there.

Fair enough. My statement probably applies to all teams with desperate fans

Okafor is widely regarded as a potential future Tim Duncan-type.

“Yes, I think every team should be hoping they get him,” Jay Bilas told SNY.tv and The Knicks Blog.

“The lottery makes it theoretically possible for any team to grab the No. 1 spot but he’s a phenomenal talent and he’s got a big body. He’s athletic, he’s super skilled. He can pass, there’s really nothing he can’t do out there. He’s not a big time rebounder. You say that he’s not rebounding as well as he can, he’s averaging 10 a game. The one thing he’s not is, he’s not a dominant shot-blocker, but boy offensively is he skilled.”
