I don't see what is wrong with that thinking. It is pretty common knowledge that you don't want to be the middle of the pack. At the start of the year we wanted the Knicks to win. When it was obvious we will not be any good then the priority is to lose to get a high pick. In the past we have always been middle of the pack bad and that is partly why we are where we are at now.

Completely agree- we have a once in a lifetime shot at getting a top pick. We've suffered the horror and pain of just 5 wins in however many games. Now we need our reward- going on a win streak and playing our way out to the 7th or 8th pick would be an absolute disaster. This second half of the season is going to be tough, because we play a lot of loser teams who are tanking (felt like we only played playoff teams the first half of the season).

that isnt the whole story. his first three starts were Ls. the last included a return of james. now that james seems to be back/acclimated again, cle is winning.

What I'm saying is that JR has helped them..Trying to put our losing on JR and Shump etc isn't all too correct...

others said it... curry 1 pick before... while the knicks can still mess up a high pick, moving into the treadmill picks is not ideal
