If anyone watched that--they'd now be thinking Okafor or Russell--that good. Best pass I have seen in CBB in 10 years tonight-- magic Johnson type stuff. If he was just a tad more athletic he'd be an easy #1 but hes still great and I mean great. Hes long hes got long arms hes a GREAT passer great shooter quality man defender and an excellent rebounder from the guard position. Really the only thing you are talking about is just a little speed and ups but this is the next Walt Frazier here folks.

I'll hold off on the Walt Frazier comparisons, but I think his ceiling is Brandon Roy. His floor is Evan Turner.

So we have Tim Duncan and Walt Frazier coming in the same draft. Now that is a special draft class!

Huge difference between Turner and Roy---Russell can shoot it with great accuracy from deep and he's a more natural PG that either of those guys. I think what you are missing is the little bit of athletic ability to create more FT opportunities but as he gets stronger it wont matter. Hes a generational type player---better than anyone in the last draft. His talent is undeniable and to have a PG at 6-5 who has ball skills like that with that type of accuracy is scary.

He is already better than turner and can shoot. I see his floor as Jamal Crawford and his ceiling as harden. But we are talking about a lights out shooter with excellent skills with the ball.

I agree. I'm happy if we land in the top 3 as either okafor, towns, or Russell can be a franchise talent for us.

This kid reminds me a lot of Mark Jackson with much deeper range. I have never seen Walt play, so I don't really know much about his game

Haven't seen a whole lot, all i am certain is that he is a good passer (no look pass game strong) and isn't a bad shooter. I will keep an eye on this dude but we really need a big before a pg that is unnecessary in this triangle that they are running.

I won't be mad at any of the top picks I see in this draft. Okafor, Russell or Towns would be just fine. I think all have great NBA futures. This draft in general is better than some are willing to admit.

Bigs don't Grow on trees::))) Karl Towns will probably be our pick. Chances are, we might end up with the number 5 pick.

I love this Russell kid too. I'd draft him if towns and okafor are on the board....I might even try to trade down for Russell if someone really wants that Mundiay kid at #3.

I'm calling D'Angelo Russell "brown sugar" if he ends up in ny. Pretty mother****er. He would definitely be a 2015 version of Clyde. Kid is gonna sell water to a well with endorsements
