We need a big more than a guard

Portland regretted that. Twice. Always the Best Player Available, right?

Russel defense has been deplorable when off the ball. He is constantly switching and getting lost. Thad needs to get on him.

Thye played without their starting 3-4 who also is their 2nd leading scorer. When a player like that is eliminated from the line up--you know what happens--the D just tightens on everyone else.

I watche dpart of Duke game--Okafor was just ok by his standards--but if anyone saw this one play where he basically palmed the ball like an orange and spread his arm length out across the lane and dropped the ball in the net --it was a wow type moment. I think he might be better off losing 10 pounds. if he came in 6-10 260 instead of 270 I think ti would be better for him. He runs the floor very well now but I think the 10 pounds would help him in defensive timing and execution.

I peeked in on that game right before that play. That was a special move. He banged in the low post about 2-3ft out side the lane then just turned and with 2 long strides was at the basket for a nice finger roll.

The guy still has his boy body. I wouldn't call him fat but he just needs to mature and train like a man.

Yeah hes not fat at all but I thought tonight for the first time he could stand to lose 10 to tighten it up. Hey at 272-273 thats a lot of weight even if hes fit. It would help his explosion and timing on defense.

if he lost weight he couldn't do half the things that he's doing on offense...

he just needs to be quicker and more aware on defense... the quick part i don't think will ever come... the awareness part is hard to teach so i doubt he'll ever be what you would call a good defender... that's part of the reason why i'm not so high on him...

Funny feeling we are going to over think things and draft a Euro(Ala Frederic Weis/Gallo)with our top 4 pick. Either that we will trade the pick for an albatross like when we traded Nene & Camby for Mcdyess

yeah... he's forced the issue a bit because he always has to fight for shots when the harrison twins decide to take it upon themselves instead of throwing it into him...

he looks like the #1 pick in this game...
