I knew there was a connection that was agent related

So in a round about way this is almost CAA esque on a smaller scale


I also recall when Phil addressed the media a couple weeks ago

About the season he mentioned agents have communicated to him


New York is still a desirable place for free agents and

He believes they will be able to sign someone


This led me to hone in on this theory of why

We've all of a sudden propped up Lou and Lance after not waiving them


Phil is looking for a summer favor, no doubt about it now

I wouldn't say this is a bad thing to get on the good side of agents just before you would hope to be luring in their clients. It's not the same thing as being controlled by one large Firm. This is just normal business. Scratching backs isn't necessarily a bad thing.

He actually,played his part tonight... He's not a bad back up for 15 a night he hustles and brings energy that's exactly what you want from your back up center

I think Phil wants to bring in professionals. Lou and Lance seemed to have picked up the offense faster than the guys already here. Both are journeyman. Lance has a rep for being great in the locker room. Lou has played hard for like 10 different teams in his career. They both came in and have been pros. We need talent, but we need guys to punch in their clocks and go to work without an agenda. This is why I think they were brought in here.

We did this with Shannon Brown and MbengedOn where are they now


We should be more interested in looking at players with upside

Or the ones who we sacrificed assets for to know if they will be here long-term
