Melol @ this team really racking their brains

On trying to keep these journeyman all likelihood overseas rest of career playing TRASH-STIFFS

A pet peeve of mine: when Joe Schmo fans call NBA players "trash" or "stiffs" just because they aren't obviously in the top 1-5% of basketball players on this planet.

Looks like the stiffs are playing with heart and hustle in this game and might help stop an awful losing streak.

So far Ajinca has looked bad at scoring, okay defensively, and is rebounding pretty good. He already has 6 rebs with 4 of them being on offense.

Ryan Anderson has not been himself this year. He did suffer a pretty bad injury last year and is still dealing with some personal pain so maybe that is affecting him.

Doubt that he had to be taught that by some coach on the Knicks?

Limited talent, unlimited hustle and energy, and he seems to have his eyes open all the time. You always need guys like this on your team, but IMO, this kind of player does not need to be coached on the pro level to understand certain things..

As they mentioned on the broadcast... that is why a guy like this can stay in the league for so many years.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

right. nice to have him hear just that the kids can see some heart and hustle even though he lacks talent.

As I mentioned in the london thread. Dude was our best player in london.

Amundson is the guy I wanted to add during the 54win season to add some much needed toughness and when we were banged up in the front court, Of course we get him now in a 5-36 season

If they want to keep Lou they need to let the dead weight go. The mid two duo about nothings in Jason and Bargs need to go.

I Agree. There are high energy guys that get after it on D and they are just wired that way. There is such a thing as defensive talent. Meaning they have the kind of reaction time, athletic ability and a high motor that makes them well suited to being great defenders. If you get a guy like that who also happens to be a good offensive player then you really have something special ie Anthony Davis. Gotta hope we can one day have a team full of guys that give it up on both ends.

beside those pnr pullups/running jumpers most of his shots have been wide open. very weird.

side note: the early passing by Melo has been great.
