these are two guys we should focus on getting instead of kobe. they'd play into the "team" concept a lot better and mesh with marbury (a self absorbed superstar) better than kobe ever would. you think kobe had a hard time getting along with (likeable) shaq? imagine kobe and marbury together - pure insanity.

I like Q richardson, he is a more talented offensive player and a better rebounder..

tkf, i'm guessing you also plan on throwing in a bunch of filler contracts in that deal, since there's no way Q. Rich will be given a max contract by any team in the league...& the combined salary for Frank, Nazr & TT will add up to at least $18 million for next season alone.

& to timmy, if you're the Clippers, would you trade away Q. Rich to the Knicks for Allan Houston & his 33 year old gimpy knees, back & $57 million dollars remaining on his contract?

Frank and TT for Q and Wilcox would suit me just fine. Q is going to be great in this league. I would overpay for him now. The thing is, the Clipps won't do that deal. They will either resign him for his market value or let him walk and either save the money or go after Kobe.

desmond mason is very solid, he has leadership that Q doesnt... the toughness that Q doesnt... its too hard to watch all of these players all of the time, but Q is great, but not the type of leader to make things happen... he doesnt seem to me to be the winner desmond is...

but Q seems to be the better player now, by just a bit. these two are guys that would fit the knicks and fit marbury and fit NY better than Kobe.

Who do you guys think is better - Tim Thomas or Tay Prince?

I think Thomas has more "potential" but is a fugazy...

I think Tim Thomas beats Prince in talent but if you want to know who is the better overall player then I would have to say that they are pretty equal since Prince is a better defensive player while Tim is a better offensive player.

The Clippers would laugh at that offer. Q-Rich is awesome. I don't think you'll get him without giving up either Marbury or Sweetney. Forget about trying to get them to throw in Wilcox

by far. Q-Rich has the whole package. J-Rich slacks on defense.

yea the problem is what filler contracts do the clips have since they do not like giving out contracts, I think that Brand, Kaman and Magetti are the only ones signed through the year 2005...

they have Drobnjak signed through '07, but he's only on the books for $2.8 million next season.
