Just sayin a fresh start is needed for Jose and Lin both players struggling with current squads and garbage for garbage with Nash and bargs who will both be waived though I wouldn't be surprised if brags miraculously is better.. I think he is afraid of nyc media!

Thats actually a good idea but LA's draft to suns is protected and you don't want to screw that up by injecting two starters and somehow they get better.

Im not thinking Bargnani is allergic to NY media but a rash of bad luck. Dude is not as bad as depicted on these pages. neither is Calderone, but he is not making any arguement easy!!

Yes indeedy, let's take on $17 million for an invisible 39 year old PG who is phyically unable to perform, and a grossly overpaid one-hit wonder who'll most likely have a nervous breakdown if he's ever traded back here.

Our 5 win coach could probably outplay both of these guys right now. For only 5 million.

Lin gives us a starting pg who gets to the hole & ft line as caldron can be Kobe's bitch and a vet pg that be on the same page as Kobe ... As well as become a back up mentor for there young players

The point isn't to keep Lin he's expiring and this trade opens up more cap space by getting rid of Jose awful contract

That is a great trade for us but I doubt Lakers want to take on Calderons contract.

Also I don't think Jose = more wins for them this year but offers them a vet back up to guide the young players ala Jason Kidd on the Knicks his last year

Because Kobe needs to brush up on his Italian and the Lakers think Marc Gasol wants to play for his brothers team. They need calderon because he is his best friend. Don't question it just believe it.

One season after this one I believe. 7.5 mil per year. We almost half way thru this year.

Bargs is about getting healthy. Bargs healthy is 15-6 player.
Just my take. This guy has been a huge disappointment for the team in regards to the cost to get him, his on court time very limited, and as a trade asset.
Hope I think was KNicks would muddle around the middle of the pack and he'd gave decent trade potential.

Well for two & a half years and the lakers are in need of more veterans there way too young caldron can help them attract m Gasol to play with him and Kobe, Randal I'd even sweeten the deal by adding Aldrich since there in dire need of a back up center. Plus if they get a high pick and draft a pg caldron would be a perfect mentor
