nobody is lining up to trade for bargs. imho, he's a prime cut candidate so teams will wait.

jose has value...just not at that contract.

Why can't Jose be retained as a backup

Leads me to believe he was NEVER EVER a long term solution

Calderon could never be considered a longterm solution at his age. A lot of experts said Calderon would be easy to move after the trade because he's a good character guy, high percentage shooter and careful ball handler. But he's nothing but a backup and it's hard to justify paying that much for a backup.
