I have to agree somewhat with Nalod. For years this team has been bringing in guys that were either washed up or damaged goods. GOing back to Kiki Vendeweghe, then we brought in a decling McDaniel, then a gimpy Charles Smith, LJ, as hard as he tried he was on the decline. Then again you can go farther back to when we broughtin Haywood and McAdoo, past their primes.

I can see bringing in older past their prime players for younger guys as being a bad thing for sure, but how is getting a 25 year old Kobe, a 27 year old steph, or a 24 year old T-mac doing that? I just don't see the point, isaih has not done anything close to bringing in older players for young talent.... I see nalods point, it just does not apply here!

what did we give up to get Xavier? I mean X man was in his prime and gave the knicks some solid years, I agree that kiki was done but what did we give up? did any of the guys we gave up turn into solid pro players? I don't know but that would be something to research for sure...

we pretty much traded trent tucker and jerrod mustaf (who was a mid first round pick the year before).
