They also traded Memphis green for another#1From celtics. Cs have like 10#1s over the next 3 years

If you were picking 8th in this draft wouldn't you offer


A couple number future #1s and your pick to get pick #1 or 2?

I mentioned this several weeks back that Boston was the team to make good with on the phone

Not actually true- the Suns traded the Twolves first that they own. HOWEVER, that pick is protected 1-12 this year, so they won't get it. Next year it's also protected 1-12, so they also won't get it. Then it changes into just 2 2nd rounders. So basically they traded 2 2nd rounders for Wright, which is probably fair.

Green deal not finalised yet, but likely will be by Monday.

If we end up picking 2-3-4, I would say we should really look at seeing how many good, near term picks the Celtics would pay for that pick.

We're in need of both quantity and quality.

Heck, even if we win #1, I'm not so sure we shouldn't also consider moving it for multiple first/second rounders.

I think he meant a steal for phx. I really do not know what I think about the trade. I mean Phx did upgrade their talent but he is not going to put them over the top and they could lose him this summer. If they keep him then great but then that eats minutes away from younger players like Len and Plumlee. Maybe they'll flip plumlee or one of the Morris bros.
