First off he's the first player since Patrick Ewing to score over 17 points in his homecoming at msg that's pretty cool.

But what was even better to see was a pg taking it to the hole and getting fouled to go to the line.

Also he showed nice court vision which is something the scouting report says he needs to work on.

I know it's a small sample but is Galloway the future starting pg in phils triangle, the dude is a freak at 6'2 with a 6'8 wingspan . He also has a pep in his step and pretty athletic to throw down a put back dunk. Watching him on the defensive end is a pleasure I think after watching him in westchester and the small sample in two NBA games he has lock down ability. And can steal with the best of them.. As well he is a sharp shooter that can hit the open three all day long.

He may never be a star but he sure seems to fit the bill as the perfect triangle pg.

Now fisher play this kid starter minutes the rest of the way so we can see if he really is.

I like the dude too. Right off the bat its his on court focus. None of our guards are as engaged as this guy is. Is it cuz he's on a 10 day contract? I Dunno....but he's definitely worth a roster spot. Priggy and Calderón have to go

We kind of saw glimpses even in SL. I think he's a legit prospect that just got overlooked and another good find by our scouting staff. I like how he actually pushes the pace. Which is crazy cuz he does a better job of that than any of our other guards. His attacking the basket is a breath of fresh air. Everything he's shown with the big team is what he was doing in DLeague. We need more players with his aggression and all around game.

Rooting hard. Pure emotional fandom here, it would be great to fall in love with a gritty undrafted pg discovered in a lost season

Awesome story

I like him too. Him and Larkin have lots of speed in the backcourt. It was refreshing to see him drive and get the and 1. I am wondering how much you can play these two together and if he makes Larkin redundant.

He looks much better than how he looked in training camp maybe it's because he was playing with the young guys and not the decrepit old bums

I was going to write the same exact thing. He has nice court vision....and he is very active at both ends of the court

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Big stage for a neophyte to show his stuff- national TV against a top team- one with a pretty good backcourt.

Much more confident and decisive with the ball than he was in the SL and exhibition games, where at times he almost seemed to shy away from asserting himself.

Surprised with his ability to go to the basket-especially when guarded tightly. The first layup he made last night- going left and finishing with his left, made after bouncing off the defender, is something Shumpert was pretty much unable to do in all the time he played here.

The DL really helped him settle in as a player, it would seem. I think his jump shot will be more consistent as he gets more time on the floor.

He did not seem overmatched against Harden, although he did look very small in comparison. I think a short neck makes him look smaller than he really is.

If what we've seen so far is not a mirage- and yes, it's a very small sample- I would say that picking him up was like getting a late round #1 or an early #2 pick in the last draft.

A lot of teams whiffed on drafting Galloway- glad we had a shot, and the foresight, to pick him up.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?
