We've discussed him recently I recall not sure

If it was this week but surely this month

Keep in mind this move is in conjunction

To give K-Mart a 10 day contract

Can't place a bid on him because we're over the Tax thresh hold[thanks Bargnani or Jose]

And if he were to clear waivers we'd have to cut someone ourselves to sign him

I don't know what to say about his potential

If any remains but I can say from what I've seen

Looked like he had a little Luke Ridnour in him

A lot of players are going to get waived in the next month or so

I guess now is not the time to hope in some Woltsanity is what you're saying

This....There were several posters here wanting us to trade for this guy. If we had traded for him (just like some suggested we do), and it was leaked later that the Bucks were planning to release him, the usual suspects would have been Melol and raking Pjax over the coals....

He'll be all over this waiver claim

There's a galactic difference between trading for a player

And picking him up off waivers or having a roster spot open to do so[sign him]

Nate had a really good rookie year. He simply was odd man out 4th PG in a league where most teams have 2 or 3. They actually moved him to SG this year and the one thing he's not that great at his shooting the long ball. But if you look at his rookie numbers his 3.2 to 1 TO ratio 44% shooting an his pretty good D--he certainly is a player who in the right circumstance is a nice 2nd or third piece with upside. Most rosters are stacked--there are 25-27+ teams still looking for the playoffs. I have to wonder if Nate makes it through waivers.

Will the kNicks pick him up if he does? Im not sure we should but we have 3 PGs as well. I think they want to give Halloway? a solid chance with minutes--so it would have to be a case where we were trading Calderon. I don't necessarily think hes a prime triangle guy albeit he is nearly 6-5 and has good shake passing handling abilities and gets into the lane

In his rookie year, ranked 6th in the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.28-to-1) at the time of his season-ending hand injury... The first Summit League player to ever earn AP All-American honors as he was named to the Third Team in 2013... One of four NCAA Division I men’s basketball players in history to complete his career with at least 2,000 points, 600 rebounds and 600 assists... Only the third player to average 20 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in two individual seasons since the NCAA started keeping assists as an official stat in 1983-84... Interesting Bucks picked up Kendall Marshall off waivers

A guy I was hoping we'd have a chance to get in the summer

But the same circumstances existed Tax issues

Bucks got him dirt cheap, but was clowned by some over the fact

His shooting wasn't-isn't the greatest, although he's a

Key contributor on a winning team in playoff position

Needless to say Wolters in essence loses his spot to him

Yet we're not in position to go after him even if we wanted to

And hey there are no draft scouting experts on this forum

It can make for some lively talk but no one receives financial payments

For their contributions, we're all amateurs here

I would look to trade for caldron any expiring that should be Phil's main goal up to the trade deadline. Second find suitors for brags and amare if no suitors release them .. If Wolters is still out there you sign him

If he was okphysically--in shape--I think Knicks fans would enjoy watching him play 25-30 minutes in an atmosphere that is free for the players. What better chance do you get to look at young players than this one

Can't place a bid on him because we're over the Tax thresh hold[thanks Bargnani or Jose]

And if he were to clear waivers we'd have to cut someone ourselves to sign him

Actually I do not think we are over the tax threshold after JR Smith, Iman's contract, and savings of waiving Dalembert
That is why Phil Jackson pulled the trade

We have $80mil on the books after the trade, so yes we are over the thresh hold

I believe by about $3mil or so
