This 70 yr old die hard knick fan was sitting in front of me 2 rows behind the wiz bench, he kept yelling..TIMMY WHERE'S YOUR FARTHER, WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR DAMN FARTHER YOUR NOTHING LIKE HIM, YOU DAMN BUM. YOUR NO CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK..the entire section was rolling in laughter. He kept saying i've been a knick fan for 50 yrs, WHO THE HELL ARE THESE PLAYERS..

I never thought i would be ashamed to be a knick fan, I heard wittman tell his team (when the knicks cut it to 5 with 6 mins left) just put a little pressure on them, they'll crack like eggs, The entire team started laughing. The jokes were endless, i had to get up and go to the bar to join my buddy, who never came back to his seat after the first half..

It's not easy to blossom when all around you there is inconsistency, deplorable play, uncertainty, novice coaching, lack of effort, etc.

THjr is not to blame for any of this. He will be fine once the Knicks stabilize and stop the bleeding. That 70 yo moron in front of you is a typical NYK fan, with a typical NYer attitude of "What have you done for me lately". There is very little patience or willingness to endure rough stretches while preparing for the future. That's why we never get better.

This isn't the NFL, where you only need to win three games to make it to the Finals. You need a team built for consistency in order to make it through three 7 game series.

I trust Phil to be patient, to block out the noise and focus on building something with lasting value. Phuck that dude at the Garden. HE IS THE PROBLEM!

Why are you and others even posting things like this? It's actually not embarrassing when you know what is actually happening. IMO if you as a fan DON'T know what is happening with this team then you are the embarrassment. That 70 year old guy has been waiting all these years for another championship and with every loss this team at least increases it's chances of adding a franchise talent in the draft. We haven't had that chance since Ewing. For the 1st time in a while we have a GM who has the power to do a nearly full rebuild and restructure the team completely. We have cleared the cap so that we can also add more front line talent. Everything that is going on right now is about trying to make a better future for this team so I don't understand why you and others keep going on about the losing and how bad the team is. There is a purpose to all of this and any REAL FAN should fully understand that purpose.

shumpert has been in this league 4 yrs now, and has he gotten better. THJ (mind you, i do like him) will never be more then a 6th man. The problem with hardaway is that he only cares about scoring..Remember this

Hardaway Sr. admits he put too much pressure on his son and that he almost ruined his career and his family in the process.
“I wanted him to play like I played,” Hardaway Sr. said. “I wanted him to take the game seriously — not saying that he didn’t — but I wanted him to do more. I was tearing up the family and I wasn’t having fun. I wanted him to enjoy the game of basketball and what I was doing, I wasn’t letting him enjoy it and I wasn’t enjoying it either.

What i get from this is that he was trying to turn his son into more than a one dimensional player, which is what he has become, and he would rebel, which is why fisher keeps yanking him. I watched him a lot in college, and his erratic shooting, disappearing acts, and no effort on defense have not change at all, and he doesn't seem to understand that. He has the potential to be a very good player, just like shump, but who has 4 to 5 yrs before(and we can only pray)that happens.

It's similar to Amare's defense or Melo, they never taking it serious or pride themselves on it, you can see these traits early. Has JR smith become a consistent player over his 10 yrs in the league, how much better has he gotten since he's been in the league..not much. The guy still doesn't pass, or rebound, he gets the ball and he's looking to score.

The only kids on this entire roster that i think will get much better is Larkin and Early. I like cole but I think he's almost at his ceiling.

Nobody on this roster other then Melo will be a starter on any roster in the NBA, not now, not next yr or the yr after that.

The fans and this organization need to be patient with THJ for at least one more year. As much as I like the kid, he has to show a desire to play at both ends of the court. He makes no effort to rebound the ball, and he is not as active as I thought he was going to be moving without the ball. He is very talented, but he must show that he wants it. I would give him until next season. He is way too much in lost with his offensive game.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Yeah, we know who we are and what we're doing. The Wizards should be embarrassed that the game was even that close. It's easy to beat up on us now, but how about doing that against the Spurs? The Wiz are an OK team that benefits from playing in the east. They're probably an 8th seed or lower in the west.

Yeah, but that's a gamble. If he doesn't improve by then, he will have lost any trade value.

typical New York SPorts fan, ignore it, a lot of people who show up at games have no idea what is really going on or what they must take into account. Did the team really start laughing at him? THAT is shameful. who the flying **** laughs at their teammate DURING THEIR GAME. DURING THEIR GAME. WOW.

No reason to dump on them because the Knicks suck. Even when we;ve had a good season we've let garbage team actually beat us, not just keep it close.

Consistently going 3 for 9 would be a step in the right direction at this point.

1 for 6HJ seems more accurate as that is what he is always shooting from 3

I swear to God he pissed me of tonight. He is not that good of an offensive player, because he only does one thing consistently; which is shooting the low percentage 3 ball. Fisher needs to change his directive with Tim to force him to be more conscious of his offensive game. Instead of yanking him off the court for his silly mistakes, he should be forbidden from shooting the 3 ball until he can show a desire to do other things on the court. The current approach is not sinking in; matter of fact, it is forcing him to be even more inconsistent and ineffective.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)
