Say the knicks were a .500 team, and say slottedf or the 10-13th pick.
In that scenario this team would be playing better.
In that scenario Bargnani would be playing about this his 16-7 type game.
IN that scenario he is healthy and his value is about 10-13mil a year, maybe more.
IN that scenario Im not sure he fits into Phil's long range plan.
In that scenario he is tradable.
Would we:
Trade Bargnani, and our 2015 (Its hypothetical, I know we can't, and think projected 10-13th)) for and UNPROTECTED pick that WOULD be a top 3???
Im not saying he would have made this season a .500 one, but a healthy trio of Melo-Bargnani-Amare Might have had a far larger impact but would have been fools gold longer term.
Given that, with the season as it is we don't need to trade him, cuz we on the path to ruin and the prize might be the no. 1 pick.
I'd make the trade. Shyt happens, and while this might not the intended result to this season, I'd take it.
