A lot of chatter about coaching, leadership, etc. but at the end of the day the roster is a joke. Can't scheme your way out of not being any good. This is where I believe the players on the roster truly belong and would fit in on a real team.
Acy: D-Leaguer - I don't see how he can contribute anything of value to a pro-team. At best he is a roster filler/12th man.
Aldrich: Backup Center - He can play. Would be a 10-20 min guy on a decent team.
Anthony: All-star - Not a Melo thread. He is an all-star in this league. This is a fact. Let's please just leave it at that.
Bargs: 10th man - If he ever takes the court, he could be an okay role player in a 10-15 min role off the bench.
Calderon: Back-up PG - Would be a solid contributor in a limited role on a good team.
Dalembert: 12th Man at best - Sam brings zero to the table. Guy is worthless. Reasonable chance he won't be on a roster next year.
Early: Prospect/D-Leaguer - Hasn't had a chance to try and contribute.
THJ: 10th-12th Man - Worth a look as a bench player/dev project. His lack of effort in improving his own deficiencies is alarming.
Larkin: Backup PG - Basically still a rookie. Smart defender. Great effort. Could produce consistently in 10-18 min bench role.
Priggy Smalls: 3rd String PG - I love his effort, but he is too old and washed up. Woulda loved to see him in the league 10 yrs ago.
Shump: 11th-12th man - This guy is on a free fall. Has done nothing to improve, too busy rapping. No offensive game, mediocre defender.
JR: 7th-10th man - Guy can contribute off the bench. However, he is a mad man, and not really worth the trouble.
Jason Smith: Europe - He doesn't belong in this league, and isn't really a prospect so no place in D-League either.
Amare: 7th-10th Man - Can contribute off the bench in the right role. He would need to accept that though, but an MLE player.
Wear: Europe - He's terrible. No upside.
