Alot of dudes will be angry about minutes mostly on the perimeter.

I still don't feel comfortable giving Cleveland their missing piece just to get a few back ups and a Rookie that you have burried on your bench.

Trading for Stackhouse would be a problem. Stack is mad everywhere he goes because of PT. I don't think he would be too happy sharing a perimeter witth Houston, Wagner, Penny, Shandon, Ollie, and Marbury.

You just basically stacked the Knicks with perimeter help.

I'm not mad at your ideas though.

But did you take a look at how many players you have on the roster? Knicks are a basketball team not a football team, lol.

I like Timmy in a Knick uniform though.

Maybe the Knicks do the Stackhouse trade only. Stack still would be complaining....but I like him as insurance for Houston. Stack has been a good passer and ball handler throughout his career so I think he would help Marbury alot.

to me its all about acquiring quality assets and putting a team together that can compete now AND later. we have 15 roster spots and there is no minor league system--the IR must be utilized like the minor leagues IMHO. this way you always have a pipeline growing. i see this as such an important part of an nba business model to hinder cyclical downturns. these players must be cultivated to take over spots that become empty when players move on

i.e penny H20 andersen are on a very limited cycle for example

if you want to look at what i mean--look at the pistons they have the goods to compete NOW but they also have pipeline players
in Milicic Delfino Okur that will have a prominent role when this cycle of Pistons move on.

we also dont have the luxury of players who will be able to go big minutes anymore. having minutes shared in a longer rotation is right for what we have. IF h2) comes back--do you see him playing 40 minutes 82 games? I dont--i think something realistic is 26-28 minutes

i just try to make models i know that its fantasy to get every player you want, but i try to keep the model realistic.

Why cut Cezary? I would think that he could be used in some deal since he is an expiring contract. If Isiah didn't want him, he would have left him unprotected becuase it would have been likely that the Bobcats would have taken him.

You mean, McGrady and Duncan.
