He's not the second coming of Hakeem but he is playing very well.

In 5 of his last 6 games he is averaging 12 points 7 rebounds 2 assists 1.5 blocks 77% FG in roughly 22 minutes of action

He has earned the starting spot and should get extended minutes for the rest of the year. What a coup it would be if we found we had a legit C who could score pass rebound and defend and hes already here. And it is possible he could just raise his own trade value significantly before the deadline--it doesnt matter as hes a UFA. We could easily trade him and bring him back next year

Well the dude looked like a sure thing coming into the season. Truth is he's been terrible up until recently. He was throwing sky hooks from 15 feet out, floaters from 5 feet and straight up wasn't even looking at the basket when he was open in the paint. He earned his bench time. He's starting to find his stride now, but we need him to be a force for us inside. I'm still pissed that he didn't grab Acy the other day. That's his job. Nene and Humphries knew what their job was. Cole should have been in there too. We need our players to be engaged in the game. Cole had to prove his worth

He barely played. Id like to keep the rotation with Smith and Aldrich C/PF. Next Id like to see Smith pick it up and maybe Dalembart can play better coming off the bench. Id like to see if we can raise the value of both Smith and Dalembart going into the trade deadline. ANY player EVEN Aldric can be had for the right $$$$ as it doesnt matter--they are UFA's anyway.

he was never a sure thing or else he would have surely gotten.

he has always produced when given minutes and he always seems to be in the plus.

You are just noticing more recently because of his scant PT.

Our starting front court should be Cole and Wear. That would greatly improve our flow at both ends of the court. Young or not, it s worth trying, because we've only won 5 games so far.

I'll endorse this when they call up Thanasis.

They gotta bring it though. Cole acts like he's retarded sometimes. He is our best center, just like shump is our best shooting guard. Shump hasn't proven that he needs to start. Cole is in that boat. When Cole steps on the court and handles his business, then he will get that spot. The stage is set for it to be his but he hasn't taken it. He's going good now but he needs someone to put him under their wing and

Wear is content with just being in the nba right now. Wear has a ton of potential. He needs to be aggressive. He's always looking east and west. He's got to look up and see the defense. Alot if times the best option on the play is him. He's a rookie but when that light turns on he's going to be chandler parsons or similar like ariza, Wilson chandler, maybe mike dunlevy...he's got to want it.

Unless there was a wink wink deal I don't think they are calling up Thanasis. Once he is called up he has to stay on the roster or they have to cut him. I think he is on the team next year and that this was the plan. Right now Thanasis is in the same situation as Pierre Jackson last year.
