Would a team like Sacramento trade Demarcus Cousins to the Knicks for a first rounder and say Larkin and early?

this would be a trade made on draft day after we made our selection....we can't trade the pick before draft day, but once we draft them we could move them... correct me if I'm wrong.

It probably would take more but honestly im not interested in trading picks anymore. We have done it for years and it always backfires

We can probably look into a big trade during the draft. Cousins would be an ideal target but I'm sure there will be others. I don't mind trading the pick as long as it's for someone on the younger side who has been durable during his career.

Come on why would the Kings ever trade Cousins. Also we NEED cost restricted players some of you guys just dont get it--we need players who play above their contracts especially with Melo making 25mm.

btw there's nothing else to talk about now so I'm just throwing things out there.

Also the kings would probably trade cousins if we drafted okafor. They are dead in the middle of a rebuild.

I think if the Knicks moved the pick on draft night they might consider moving back in the draft to pick up a second pick. But I don't think Phil goes there. The team is made up of late first rounders, second rounders and undrafted guys already. The Knicks need talent.

If I didnt get pick #1(say 3-4) I would consider looking at Denver to see if they might be interested in trading Nurkic Greene and picks 10 and 40 Still way too much information to be dechiphered--but that would be a model if I was intersted in trading high level prospect medium level prospect an additional good 1 and a 2. 4 good assets for the 3-4 pick.

I'm more interested in what Briggs thinks about these players. Not many here qualify as coast effective talent. Maybe Gary Neal or seraphin. Alot of the other guys will get their market value and some others don't even belong in the league.

I'd consider moving it to Denver if we can get back Jusuf Nurkic and Gary Harris while exchanging Jose Calderon's and JR Smith's bad contracts for Danilo Gallinari and JaVale McGee's.

I think that there isn't much separating the top centers of this draft with Nurkic, who is only 19 years old. I also think that Gary Harris would make for an excellent fit as a triangle PG. He's got a quick first step, can hit jump shots and was a lockdown defender in college.

Trading our #1 again?

Hey the Knicks just can't repeat the same mistake anymore.

It is time for the Knicks to start over and development young guys SERIOUSLY. Let's be patient.

Here you go again with Dragic:)))). If the Knicks win the lottery, they should definitely move the pick for picks 5 and 10. But not for Cousins. I like the kid, but we can actually draft a similar player.

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

No no no!
I am sick and tired of trading picks, do you know where all the current NBA all stars where orginally acquired? THROUGH DRAFT PICKS. We've tried trading picksin the past and how has that served us? Not well at all. There is absolutely no incentive of trading away picks as we are ALWAYS on the losing end of them.

The draft is a crapshoot. DeMarcus Cousins is a known commodity that is barely 24 years old but already plays like an allstar. I take the latter over the former any day of the week.

If you were in a car accident, does that mean you should stop riding in cars altogether? Yeah, the Knicks have made historically bad trades involving their picks but that doesn't mean we can't make good trades involving them in the future. I'm not advocating that we move the pick but when you're as bad as we are, everything should be on the table.

what about trading our #1?
