I feel with #1 pick opportunity and disaster season why not ? shut down the machine called Carmelo Anthony.
Garden is a funny place for employees these days especially if you're working for Knickerbockers.
They could care less what fans think for their team and also I feel they think they will make some small
run for 8th seed spot, for NBA playoffs.

I think shutting him down is the smartest thing to do. We invested a ton of money in this guy in his 30s so if he is gonna help the next few years he needs to be healthy

Instead of shutting down Melo for the season, we need to install the biggest sub-woofer that can fit in his butt and mount tweeters on his ears and turn him into a giant boombox.

It is time to leverage our assets properly.
