Othella Harrington
Tim Thomas
Frank Williams
for Dujuan Wagner
Tony Battie
Kevin Ollie
and the 10th pick in the draft if Josh Smith is there.
It gets us younger, more athletic, gives us a 6th man and a player who can start 2 if needed and a better defensive presence in the middle and sets us up with a potential franchise player.

This gives Clev its SF, it's back up PG and a solid frontcourt bench player with an ending contract.

Dajuan and Marbury sitting in a tree.
I like that idea.

Kevin Olie is a good back-up. Tony Battie would be a really good alternative to Nazr in the paint.

Thing is the Knicks would have to draft a small-fwd or try to tade for one cuz Timmy would be gone. All of our bums are still on the team....KT, Shandon, Mutombo, etc.

Sounds like a plan though.

That would be Dumars/Zeke reincarnated.

Starbury can guard the bigger 2s.

Me like.

I'm sorry i'm against this....wagner hasnt proven anything accept he can get injured easily...i'l rather have williams than ollie and tt than tony battie....i really dont see how it makes us too much younger only one i would give up for these guys is harrington.....tt is still nasty and he brings it strong as u saw in the playoffs he was the only one with any heart. We can do better than what i see on this post. I do like the 10th pick option but thats a risk...this yrs draft is not that strong.

Wagner can flat out score, but I ask, why do you think that cleveland will include the 10th pick overall?

the 10th pick and josh smith would be key to that deal. we would be giving them a significant package

I like that deal because I think Wagner will really break out eventually. He got off to a slow start and was injured but he has the explosion and scoring ability to be a star. Isiah can give him the confidence and tutoring necessary to be a dynamic guard in this league.

definetely like that idea. injuries to dujuan early in his carrier are'nt much of an issue. injuries at 20,21,22 are completely different from injuries at 30,31,32. see houston.
tony battie is a decent center, he might even be able to beat out nazr for the start. josh smith will probably end up being the best swingman in the draft w/time.

i think its a pretty good trade for both clubs.

i dont think that clev can get a much better pg at pick 10 they dont want ollie tt is a step in starter vet as is othella as a qaulity back up

what were doing really would be taking a small step back in terms of the immediate[but that doesnt mean we wont be in the playoffs]but we pick up what i would consider a 6th man in wagner we can have for a long time and a SF in josh smith we can bring along slowly as a potnetial superstar player in this league and Battie is an athletic post defender

we have other assets to help the now team and there are players like stackhouse finley etc.. that i believe we can obtain. but to me its a two-pronged approach short and long term./

I liked this trade the first time you posted the idea and I still like it.

It's good short and long term for both teams, with few risks related to the trading of an established superstar.

would be great to do it.
i still would like to see something of this type of move
