This is what I'd do if possible...
Priority to Target 3 Suns Point Guards - they can't afford all 3, and all three are much better then anything we have currently. If Calderon is tradeable - I'd look to move him in a deal for Dragic or I.Thomas (and Bledsoe but doubt he's available). Dragic is monetarily worth more, but I.Thomas could also be pretty good. If this falls through, I'd also consider a Lin deal with the Lakers. We need ball movement and Lin was the last player to demonstrate an offensive flow where the ball was shared on a regular basis.
Butler - I'd offer him the max with understanding that their is always a gamble. He seems to be on the cusp of becoming a top 3 shooting guard - he's young, plays d, no major injury history, athletic and has improved each year. Of course he could regress, but he seems to be a hard worker and has come from a winning organization - worth the risk in my opinion. As a backup option (or if we spend too much on pg upgrade), I'd look at a slasher (Gerald Green) or an inexpensive wing shooter (Korver) to space the floor and reduce the stagnant movement we have. If Shump has to go to make this happen, so be it.
Draft - Always pick the best player (preferably a big) available, even if it takes time to develop.
Melo - I'd move him if possible for picks and young talent, as I think we will reach this point eventually anyway.
Bargs - realize I'm in the minority on this one, but do believe he could have value as a C in the triangle. If he returns I'd play him there and see how he does. If he doesn't perform really well - I'd drive him to the airport at the end of the season. Either way I'd only resign him if he plays great and is cheap
Stoudemire - like most, resign if he's affordable (eg 2 years at 5m).
Keep - Acy, Wear, Aldrich, Larkin (if accepts)
Move if possible - Early (prefer Greek kid), JR, Calderon, Pablo, Shump
Trade Ideas
Trade with Phoenix - Dragic and Green (exp) for Calderon, Shumpert and Early - they seem to like Shump, Calderon can be the 3rd guard instead of Thomas and Dragic competing and being inaffordable in future. Maybe they like Early enough to do this?
Trade with S.A. - Pablo and JR and future 2nd for P.Mills and Belinelli - probably not enough but SA has history of taking explosive and troubled players (eg S.Jackson) believing the good guys will keep them in line. They've always liked Pablo as well. Mills can be the backup (assuming Larkin leaves) and Belinelli becomes the triangle wing shooter we've missed since Novak.
