I would not worry, the whole injury thing seems a farce. My take is he'll play 60 games, take some time, keep it fresh and Team needs to keep the pressure of losing deflected from him.

My goodness, all we need to do is play Priggy big minutes. We sure to lose.

Players have always been secretive- Allan Houston had micro fracture surgery and we didn't find out about it until a few years ago! Not just us either- The bulls are still refusing to reveal what proceedure Noah had on his knee. I suspect micro fracture, judging by the fact they said it will take all year to get better.

I don't think it's the Knicks themselves that are hiding Melo's knee issue- players have a right to medical privacy like everyone else- if they say not to disclose a condition, then the team legally has to oblige. I can only hope it's something like a loose body issue, like what Early had- something that just takes a month or so recovery. Melo is scared of surgery (not saying that as a criticism- so am I), and tends to hold out as long as humanly possible.

Does anyone really stop those guys? It's the same with Steph Curry and Klay. We'd need some pretty elite defenders to do that. They have to defend as a unit to close off penetration.
