The Knicks have a few expiring deals, young players....but no draft picks.

Howard beck threw a rondo to the pelicans trade idea out there. The Celtics really don't have any use for the Pelican Players. The Knicks do. The Celtics could take the Pelican draft picks and the Knicks could take on the players. Jrue Holiday was mentioned in his scenario.

Any thoughts on an idea like this?

Well using Howard becks idea....the Knicks could send Bargnani to the Celtics for the pelicans draft pick. So something like this:

Boston gets Bargnani and picks

pelicans get rondo

knicks get Jrue Holiday and John Salmons

Holiday is a piece worth trying to secure in a trade like this.

The only way to take a player in is by shipping cap out UNLESS we are HIGHLY compensated for the cap space. We cant allocate an additional 12mm to the PG position--that would be insane.
