I'm just as interested to see who goes and who stays after Dec. 15th. If the deal is good, I won't shed tears. I see Shump strictly in pragmatic terms at this point and have no deep attachment to him. He was our leader in quite a few games and has done way more good than bad, so I don't like seeing him flame out in games. I would like real consistency. If it doesn't happen, then I'm happy to leverage him into something else.

Are you saying his shooting will dip below 40% by the end of the year?

I'd be satisfied with anything between 43-48%

Allan Houston who is considered an elite shooter shot 43% for his career. The more he became the go to guy and volume shooter the more his FG dipped

What are Shump's complete TS & usuage stats for his career? How much is he contributing by getting to the line, assists, steals, rebounds & team defense?

nobody cares about FG. His TS was 54.5 for his career which is decent. However, of course Houston was way overrated by guess who? Dumb homers.

Shumps TS is a putrid 49.5 quite horrible.

But I do find it ironic there is more focus

His Drum Line squad and not a peep of their disappointment

I think most knew his beginnings this year was Aberrational

And everyone crapped on TYSON Chandler's defense. When are we going to admit that it's the team defense more so than any one individual defender? Albeit THJ is atrocious and JR very inconsistent

You can name drop them 2 all you want, one a perennial

Allergen to defense and the other who may not be capable

It doesn't absolve Shumpert from his atrocities this season

And lastly for the matter, 2 different coaches and systems yet same results

Because the core players by that I mean amare and Melo are still the same
