They obviously don't care so why should we?

Inconsistent team.....defense is certainly not our identity. When Dalembert is on the bench, we don't have a big that can come in a protect the rim or the paint
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I like that Timmy caught fire and all that jazz, but the only real positive takeaway from this game is Shump is clearly the only leader on this team who imposes his will on the game with any consistency.

Wow, if JR didn't go cold the knicks probably would have found another way to lose. He missed a few open 3s when Bucks made there run though.

We had at least three delicious open shots in the closing minutes that would have tied or better. They had their shot

I think Shump is teetering on being an empty stat player

He's essentially traded in his defense for offense

We don't really have a dog on our team

Shump tries to be off the chain but it's clear IMO

He's playing for a contract, his angle is no different

Than Phil's money grab

FWIW, 3-9 is .250% which puts the Knicks on a 21-60 pace. I'm still holding out for 28 wins though.

You've lost your mind with your Shump tirades. Seriously, what a load of horsechit. He played great.

The only guy who played any defense today. Inside or out

Shumpert is the Truth! Melo is doing a lot more than simply scoring. Hardaway Jr. should get more burn even with his defensive deficiencies. I also like Larkin. Calderon is missed.

We manage to make things atrocious, then interesting and then we keep tanking. I'm ok with that. This is a transitional year anyway...

If Calderon every came back. It would be interesting to see if Fisher would go Calderon, THjr, JR, Shump, and Melo in the closing seconds of games tied or down 3.

J.R. hopefully will get going and have a solid year. We need to sell him high... Basketball-wise...

You have no clue about Phil. Sure he wants to be paid but he is doing this because he cares about the Knicks. You are such a negative influence on this board. Another poster that adds nothing to this forum

He wasn't good in the first half defensively

He was great offensively though

Then inverted his game the second half

I think he's placing too much focus on his offense

Which is setting bad tones for us defensively

I mean it's no different how some here view Amar'e

Some will call poo poo on those who feel Stat provides nothing

And the counter will be for a player who comes off the bench

He's fairly efficient and productive

I'm trying to figure out if Shump is becoming Carmelo like

Where their personal exploits only translate to personal benefit

And not towards the benefit of team

I don't think Shump is being selfish but

I think his focus is weighted and skewed a tad

Of course I could be wrong but oh well we're 3-9 and the beat goes on

before this game his numbers were pretty good. His 3pt shot is off so far but he is borderline efficient with 4 rebs and 5 ast (per 36 for both).

If you look at his Nov. numbers he is shooting 48% from the field and still getting good numbers per 36. His trade value should be okay numbers wise.
