My wife sold her manufacturing business in part because she didn't want to do it anymore. Too much aggravation. Some people can let it roll off their backs but successful people take it PERSONAL and obsess. She signed a contract to stay on 18 months and for a while it was nice but now they expect her to run it all forgetting why she has sold to begin with. Its physically taking a toll.
I'll miss the income but her sanity and well being is more important. We are currently on an island paradise and she is working on and off 5 of the 7 days we have been here.
Nobody put a gun to her head and made her do it. She can't tell her "boss" she is cooked and can't deal with the aggravation. its the job.
Pro athletes put their bodies at risk for multigenerational wealth beyond most of our comprehension. while I can respect his personal decision to not want to limp, the fact is his profession requires risk.
The guy is mailing it in. I see Little Penny in this kid. Big money, big injuries, not so big desire.
