With the current roster, taking into account Jose & Bargs are not ready, and hoping Shump is fine, what is the best starting line-up this team offers?

My take: Shump, THJR, Amare, Melo, Delambert.

I'd rotate off the bench: JR, Prigs, Larkin, Early, Aldrich

When Jose & Bargs return, drop Larkin & Aldrich to the permanent bench.

The rest sit. The rotation needs to be more tighter and consistent. Jason can't consistent hit an open jumper, especially in the 4th quarter (Probably tired legs), Acy has few energy sparks, but otherwise has been a minus player, and wear needs more assessment.

Thoughts?

Fisher will likely still rotate guys in and out of the rotation, even if everyone is healthy. But if it were me, Shump-JR-Melo-Acy-Dalembert The starting lineup needs more defense and at least two scoring options, with Shump seemingly taking on the role to score some as well. My bench rotation would be Pablo, Amare J Smith and T-Hard. Cole gets some burn when Amare has those rest days....Larkin, when Pablo gets his days. Wear and early get to learn things from practice and from the bench.

Prigs
Shump
JR
Melo
Sammy

I'd rather have Amare off the bench for scoring where he can have an easier matchup. Need Prigs or Jose to start to get the offense to run smoothly. Larkins quickness off the bench isn't bad. Shump and Melo are obvious starters. Dalembert is really the only option left at C. I'm not crazy about starting JR but we do need some other scoring and I don't trust TH at all. He's been more of a chucker than JR. Small lineup because our guards are somehow better than our bigs. Might improve spacing and give or speed on defense.

It will be interesting to see if Shump, Jose and Melo become the knicks big three in the starting line up. Shump has been great. Sounds like he is out tomorrow though.

dalembert 6'11"
melo 6'8"
acy 6'9"
wear 6'10"
shumpert 6'5"

jason smith
amare stoudemire
larkin/prigioni
aldrich

keep these guys out of the rotation tomorrow:

jr smith
hardaway

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Great because offensively we haven't looked better

I wonder if Shump's presence is throwing off Melo

Ironic Melo went ape in he and Amar'e absence

Wear should be starting, he's a free 6 fouls if for nothing else

Play THJR a consistent rotation of minutes

If it's 15 then play him 15 every game

I kind of like Pablo and Larkin flanking each other

It's like a backcourt of chaos who muck up the game

For the competition, also find Early some min

Otherwise Phil can't be declared making a draft steal
