I was gonna say we are better off waiting till his contract is up but the guy has like 2 years left on his contract.....

Do you know what that means? Two years of a bumb player like Shandon complaining about his role with the team....actually demanding trades like someone actually wants a guy that makes more than Derek Anderson, Ricky Davis, Richard Hamilton, Cuttino Mobley, Chancey Billups, James Posey, Mike Miller, Desmond Mason, Micheal Redd, Sam Cassell, Stackhouse, Larry Hughes, Ruben Patterson.....etc....

It's totally sickening. Isiah should buy this dude out, now!!!

Forget the trade value he would provide years later. He's not gonna sit quiet like Travis Knight did. Screw Shandon and let him latch on to the Lakers or Houston or some team that wouldn't mind picking up dumb players because they "provide defense and intensity".....oh yeah and he "runs the floor" so well.

And yet, unlike Allison, he can WALK. he can RUN. he can even JUMP. Face it, as of right now, this "bumb" as you describe him is the starting 2 guard for the NY Knicks.

By the way, ShanDONE has THREE, not two years left on his contract for almost 25 million dollars... don't you look at the salaries page at hoopshype? that gives you the best info as to contracts and salaries. compare the knicks page to other teams and its like a team thats been run by a crack addicted retarded child. any chance we can trade shandon to the hawks for alan henderson and one of their second rounders? henderson is useless of course, but in the last year of his contract. we buy him out, and for 8 mill we get rid of shandone and get us a second rounder. why do the hawks do it? shandone is from atlanta and is a legit 5-7th man who is never ever injured. he does run the floor well (he just can't shoot, dribble or pass) and while his defense is overrated, he's a legit perimeter defender (he's no bowen or artest, but he's no glen robinson/alan houston either)

I also want shandon gone badly, to think that he gets paid more than all those guys enyspree mentioned is a Joke, and the very reason why layden should never be a GM in this league again..

I don't know if the contracts match, but if the Bulls offered us Jerome for Shandon, I instantly say "Where do I sign?"

Jerome has a team option on the '07/'08 year according to Hoopshype...so basically their contracts are almost identical...i don't think Chicago would make that trade, but i guess it's 1 of the more realistic ones that i can think of...i can't think of any other team that would want to take on Shandon's contract for any other reason than to unload an equally bad contract of their own.

You agree he's a bum, then plan on trading him with a backup PG and an 11/8 PF to get an All Star? Not sure how that works.

Anderson=Sh*t. He doesn't deserve to be in the NBA. I don't know what Layden saw in him from the first place, than again, he was the one that gave Houston a $100 milion contract.

Im not sure how the expansion draft works. But cant we leave him unprotected and hope against hope that the Bob's take him ?
