The Knicks desperately need a guard that can handle the ball and lock down the opposing teams' best player. Iguodala is now a bench player due to the development of Klay Thompson and Harrison Barn. Why not trade Bargnani's expiring contract for Iguodala?

He could be used as Pippen in the triangle. Just a thought.

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

He's only on the bench because Livingston is still suffering the residual effects of an injury. That has left Igoudala as the only healthy ball handler other than Curry, which is why Kerr felt compelled to bring him off the bench. Watching the Warriors now, I doubt they move him but I've wanted Igoudala in a Knick jersey for a long time.

Iguodala is worth WAAAAAAAY more than Bargs! There isn't a chance in a million they'd trade him for Bargs as they could get better value for him from another team.

Hypothetically, yes, I'd like Iguodala on the knicks. But Bargs for Iggy. Lmao. That will never ever ever EVER happen.

I am all for draft picks. If there is a chance to trade for that dude, Phil should do it. Igy at the point, THJ-SG, Carmelo-SF, Gasol-Center; PF?????

You can even mess around and keep Calderon at PG, play Igy-SF, Carmelo-PF

Wowwwwwwww!

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

The Post was speculating about Tobias Harris in the 2015 offseason. I would prefer signing a guy that has his career ahead of him as opposed to a guy like AI2 who has seen better days.

if you follow GS Iggy is regarded as their glue player and one of the most important guys on that roster. As they are competing for a title Iggy is not for sale. Good player though.

He's the ultimate glue guy. He's the type of player the Knicks need to get while we ship out shump, Jr smith and amare.

Yeah, but at least he will be a free agent next season. The Knicks would have to overpay, but there's a decent chance they could get him to sign.

Would you want him on your team? I don't think he fits the system. Let's face it every team with decent player in his last year will get the speculation since the Knicks will have cap space. Is Harris looking to give the Knicks a home town discount. Probably more a salary drive using the Knicks.

Harris can pass, post and hit from the outside. He could fit on the offensive. We'd definitely need a defensive presence at center tho if we signed Harris.

Our goal should be to land Gasol in FA. If he elects not come to NY, fixiate on double double type big that can pass the ball. Draft a couple of catch and shoot players and try to lure Iggy to NY. I do t particularly care for rhondo, so I won't advocate for him to be part of this team. Phil should also look into drafting a big PG. Dante exum would be a perfect fit for this system.

Dante Exum is sucking hard right now, so I do wonder if the Jazz would make him available. The only thing they'd need is a starting caliber PG though and I doubt we can offer them that.
