they are referring to the fact that they wouldn't be able to trade Houston because there would be no takers for him...obviously, that would be the case...it doesn't mean they wouldn't be allowed to trade him though...theoretically, they could if there was a team willing to take on his contract.

anyway, i was just proposing this for argument's sake to see what can be done w/the trade exception once a player gets taken by Charlotte in the expansion draft...thanks for the feedback guys.
